Basic room experience with no windows!!! Poor soundproofing and annoying Grab pickup issues!!! Staff seem inexperienced!!! Bikes not suitable for rental!!! The hotel could really enhance the guest experience with better facilities!!!

Had a great time at this place. the staff were super friendly, went out of their way to help us take some memorable photos and they even had this cool movie night projected, felt like home! Plus, the location is right by the famous street so we could walk everywhere without dealing with the crowds.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but I’d say it was worth it.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from bustling Jonker Street, making it easy to explore local shops and eateries. We loved the charming decor, blending traditional Nyonya style with modern comforts. Plus, the friendly staff even welcomed our small dog!

My kids wished the hotel had a designated play area for them.

I was absolutely captivated by the beautiful blend of history and luxury! The spacious Family Suite was a cozy hideaway, with a lovely balcony and a surprise bathtub that made our stay feel extra special. Plus, being steps away from all the buzzing activity of Jonker Street was a game-changer for exploring amazing shops and trying out delicious food!

The room had no hot water supply, which was frustrating. When I brought this to the front desk's attention, their response was unhelpful and felt dismissive. Additionally, the dining area was packed during breakfast, making it nearly impossible to find a table or get assistance from the staff.

Baba House Melaka is perfectly located in the heart of Melaka, just a short walk from Jonker Street and the river. The junior suite we stayed in was elegantly designed, featuring comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The absence of a TV remote and the subpar breakfast featuring limited cereal options and no fresh juice were also disappointing. Additionally, a persistent musty smell lingered throughout the room, particularly in the bathroom, which had drainage issues and an unpleasant odor. Also, the air conditioning didn’t cool the room adequately, despite being set to the lowest temperature.

During my stay at Baba House Melaka, I appreciated the beautifully designed interiors and ideal location near Jonker Street. Although the breakfast area could get quite crowded, the warm hospitality made my experience delightful overall.

The Deluxe Double Room was a decent size and pretty comfortable overall. Cleanliness was okay, but some areas felt a bit neglected. The water pressure in the shower was solid, which was a plus. The TV had streaming options like Netflix, perfect for winding down after a long day out. A bit noisy at times due to the building's age, but the ambiance was charming. Friendly staff made things easier too.
